T-54B

1/1

HISTORY

The armored warfare lessons of WWII lead to the development of the Russian T-54 Main Battle Tank. As an early Cold Warrior, the T-54 underwent various upgrades during the 1950's with our T-54B reflecting a latter development of main gun stabilization's in both the horizontal and vertical planes. Also new to the “B” was the capability of night vision, deep wading abilities, a fire extinguisher system and additional minor upgrades.

Our specific T-54B also received further modifications for Nuclear Chemical and Biological (NBC) defense probably sometime in the early 1960's. Mechanically reconditioned, we have chosen to leave its appearance unimproved displaying the patina and coarsening effects of its unique time on earth.
